Support the Public
Since the days of Joseph Papp, a distinct group of individuals have partnered with us to help produce The Public's diverse array of productions and programs. Since over 75% of the annual budget comes from the generosity of our donors, your support helps ensure the development and expansion of The Public's unique, challenging productions, educational initiatives, and free and reduced cost programming.
Public Theater Fellows Program
This season marks the 50th Anniversary of Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacorte Theater. Help us celebrate this milestone by becoming a member of the 50th Anniversary Fellows Program. You will receive a number of exciting benefits throughout the upcoming year, including advance access to sold-out shows and reserved seats to Shakespeare in the Park.
Public Theater Partners Program
Support The Public Theater by becoming a Public Theater Partner. As a Partner, you will help ensure the development and expansion of our educational outreach programming, free and low-cost ticketing initiatives, and Shakespeare in the Park. In thanks for your gift, you will receive priority seating for Shakespeare in the Park, complimentary tickets throughout the season, and invitations to special events.
Young Partners
Our Young Partners are a dynamic group of New Yorkers in their 20s and 30s who share a passion for The Public Theater’s mission to make great art accessible to all. By supporting The Public Theater as a Young Partner, you will be invited to parties, plays, discussions and performances with up-and-coming actors, writers, directors, musicians, artists, and art-lovers alike.
Capital Campaign
Supporters of the Capital Campaign will enable The Public to strengthen our commitment to our mission by creating greater access to our programming, and enable us to secure the future of the organization for years to come by upgrading our facilities - including Joe's Pub - to better serve our audiences.
